First Presbyterian Church of Cushing is pleased to recognize our staff member, Kierah Jackson. She is in her first year with us and we are blessed by her music ministry. Kierah was the pianist, for her home church, when she was only 13 years old. She has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Oklahoma State University with a major in Piano. She is Certified and Licensed in the State of Oklahoma to teach Kindergarten through 12th grade. September 2011 was her first month in music ministry with our congregation. Welcome, Kierah! Thank you for joining us and may God bless you. The church invites the community to our Mother's Day celebration. The men of the church will serve a brunch to the ladies at 9:30 AM Sunday morning May 13th. In addition, one of our members is graduating from Cushing High School May 18th, Kyle Knight, so he will be honored during the service. Come join us as we grow in faith and better get to know the Savior during our regular church service at 10:30 AM. The adults are invited to come early for Bible Study at 9:45 AM in the parlor. The Memorial Day Worship Service will take place on May 20th. Plan now to attend and honor our veterans and those who have given their lives to secure our freedom.
